Re: MeetingPlaceExpress

You might have to check the hosts file on your mpe server. If you're using DNS make sure it's resolvable through DNS.

Re: MeetingPlaceExpress

Hey man, Thanks for your response

See, I tried to access the application using its IP address not the name, but it didn't work. so it has nothing to do with the dns resolving, am I right ????

Waiting your answer.

Re: MeetingPlaceExpress

What do you see when you run: mpx_sys status

from the terminal?

Re: MeetingPlaceExpress

Hi tristan.delsol,

Make sure that you correctly set the host name values during installation. If you entered incorrect information, use the net command to change the values.

HTH, Please rate if so.

Justin

Re: MeetingPlaceExpress

Hi Justin,

The PC from which I am trying to http to the MPE server, does it need to be in the same domain as MPE server? Is there an option to build an MPE server without putting it into any domain?

Regards,

Alex.

Re: MeetingPlaceExpress

It does not need to be in the Domain, but the DNS resolution needs to be entered in the Hosts file.
