I have one user (so far) that when he uses the "Messages Button" on his IP phone and enters his password he get the following message,"Your account is locked please contact the administrator..." If he dials the voicemail port directly, enters his id, and password it lets him in just fine. I've locked and unlocked his Unity account, reset his password, . . .<br><br>Any thoughts?<br><br>
Any chance his message button is taking him to another mailbox instead of his? this would explain the behavior... if the conversation says the account is locked the SA should reflect the locked state as well. When you check his account I assume it's not showing locked, right?
Check the call viewer to see what the calling number is being set to when you dial in by hitting the messages button. Perhaps it's not their extensions as it should be and all their failed attempts to log in have locked whatever account it is connecting as...
Yes that was it. I ran the Failed_Login report and saw his message button was using the Line 2 number for it's ID. After a number of attempts the Line 2 person's account was the one that was locked. I removed the line two for now. Is this a bug that will be fixed in the near future??

The below trick might come handy when you have to add a new node to a cluster but you don't have or is unsure of the security password for the publisher. This procedure has been around for ages.
1) Login into the CLI of the Publisher.
