the first place you want to check is the unaddressed messages public distribution list. This is where all messages the Unity Messaging System account (the guy that all unknown caller messages are sent through) forwards NDRs it gets back from Exchange. By defaul the Example Administrator account is the only member of this DL (the install guide talks about adding other folks into this DL as part of the setup process).
If you haven't added other folks to the DL you'll want to create a message profile for the Example Administrator account and check to see what messages they might have.
