Unity can trigger notifications using tone pagers, email addresses and can dial phones (internally or externally) - so you can have Unity call you on an IP phone to deliver messages, although I'm not sure why you'd want to do that.

ah, so they don't want to see messages in their email client. I got ya now.
Unity uses Exchange as it's native mail store, we don't store messages in a private database and then "push" to the exchange mailbox. As such we can't turn that off.
The only way folks can get this functionality is if they create seperate mail accounts for these users and set those up as Unity subscribers... if you hide them in the address book they wont be visible to the email clients at all. THey'll get voice mail in one inbox and email in their existing inbox.
