I have two problems here 1-The lenght of time it seems to take to update a new phone number put into ie. home phone. It seems that even a stop and start of unity does not immediatly update the phone number.
2-Number of rings to wait before hanging up(in order to avoid answering machines)even when set to 1 for demo setup the connection continues to ring untill an answer machine picks up.Is this a problem with call manager , the VG200 or Unity(do not think it is a unity thing)Can you point me at the right place to check for call termination settings?

Let's start with what version of Unity are you working with? Just to get clarification. Next, what are you experiencing? It should not take any length of time for a new number to take affect in Message notification. As long as you change the number, enable it and safe the changes, it should take affect immediately.
As for the number of rings, it is set in Unity. On the bottom of the Message Notification page, there are setting for the number of rings before haning up. Are you setting this to one and seeing the notification phone ring more than what is set? Please elaborate.
