Message Waiting Indicator

Message Waiting Indicator lights on user phones stays either on or off. If a user received a new message, it does not turn on. If a user has listen to the message it does not turned off. Some users complaint that after listening to the message, light will keep blinking constantly.<br>We have to goto Unity Administration and use "refresh status" button. It would return to its normal state. But then again it does the same thing as mentioned above.<br><br>

This isn't something we can diagnose via the forum, unfortunately. I'll have to direct you to call our support folks and get a problem ticket open so someone can help you figure out what's wrong. They’ll want to call into your server and get at your diag and event logs to get some more clues as to what is going on.

We monitor everyone's inbox in the site and if they get a new message or open a message (via the phone or from the desktop) we should adjust their lamp accordingly within seconds. If there's a problem with us monitoring your subscriber's inboxes or something of that nature, it will require a technician to turn on some diagnostic info and narrow down the problem down a bit.
