Message won't delete.

There is a subscriber who has a message that is about a half of a second loong, and everytime he deletes it, it doesn't go away. I can leave a new vmail, he can retrieve it as a new vmail, but that other one was still in there and he deletes it again (as an old message) and it is still there when he goes back in again. He can't get rid of that message. Any ideas?

Version of Unity? Version of Exchange (I assume)?

Are there any errors in the application event log when you delete the message over the phone?

This is Unity 3.1.5, Exch 2000 and there is no error associated with it in the Event Viewer. Exchange is off box.
