Callmanager can support gateways running MGCP and h.323 at the same time. If that is all that you are asking, but I don't think that is exactly what you are asking. Are you wanting to run MGCP and h.323 on the same gateway at the sametime?
Thanks for the answer... But you do bring up a good question. Can MGCP/H.323 run on the same garteway? If not for MGCP call persistance, I would have no problem implementing H.323... But maybe we will have to run MGCP in the core locations (CAllManager Call Percistance), then H.323 at the remote sites... Have you any experience with this type of implementation ?
From my experience it can be used on the same gateway and will work. You can use it on the same interfaces. What I mean by that is if t1 1/1 is mgcp you can use it as h.323 as well. Now that being said I am not sure what marketing says about it being officially supported to run them both on the same gateway, but it will work.
