MGCP on 2600 FXO port drop dialed digits

We have a 2600 with fxo ports and ccm 3.12c. If we setup a 1xxx dial pattern it forwards the digits to the pbx and connects just fine. If we setup a 9.@ dial-pattern, it comes back with just dial-tone, which we can then enter the digits. It's like it drops the dialed digits.

If I take the same dial-pattern, and send it to a fxo port setup as h.323 instead of mgcp, it works just fine.

Re: MGCP on 2600 FXO port drop dialed digits

If you send the same dialed digit to the fxo port via h323, it would work because you would have another dial-peer in the router that can handle the dialed digit

i.e 1xxx or .T.

However using 9.@ route pattern would use 9 to access the fxo port and get the dialtone but the digits received after the

pre-dot would not be complete to make a decision on a cuurent match

and hence the dialtone is heard with no pattern matched to forward the digit.

@ route pattern as not dialplan for four digits so the including a more specific 1xxx is the solution for this issue or include 1XXX in the route pattern 9.@
