Does anybody know that ICD/IPCC can use Microsoft Access as enterprise database? What I know ICD seems only work with SQL/Oracle/sybase.

Thanks

That is correct? Why would you want to? SQL (MSDE) is installed with ICD??

You know when caller enter employee ID, ICD will query the database to get the related employee information, like email adress to present to agents. Customer wants Microsoft Acess as that database .But I only see DB get/DB read under database palette, it seems those commands are only for SQL if you click the property of it. Does anybody know that those SQL commands can also be used for MIcrosoft Access? Thanks

Was an answer ever determined for this?

There is an MS access tab in ODBC, so can an Access database be referenced that way?

Yes, Access Databases can be accessed by an ODBC connection. Even so, it is possible to query an MS Access by using standard SQL language. You can try to do that with IPCC, but even if it works, this is not supported by Cisco.

Great (well, not really) but thanks for the answer.
