microsoft office and ccm

In order for the conveniece to use BAT, we installed MS office on the CCM and then remove it. Will there be any potential problem?

Thanks

Re: microsoft office and ccm

Installing Microsoft Office on a Cisco CallManger is probably one of the stupidest things I have read on here in recent history.

Use a workstation to manage your CSVs, and then copy them over to the CallManager.

Duh.

Obiously we know and we use PC to create CSV and I am not asking how bad it is. I am asking why it is bad and can you come up any evidence to this.

Re: microsoft office and ccm

Answer is simple. Cisco TAC does not support any applications installed on CallManager unless specified by Cisco. If you would like to see Cisco support MS Office on CM then I suggest you have your SE submit a PERS. However, I am sure this will near the bottom of the list of new features to add.
