Migrate call manager DHCP to LAN DHCP server

I run DHCP lease in call manager publisher to lease IP address to IPT phone and want to migrate/use LAN DHCP server to lease address. Have you done this task and what is the best practice/procedure to do the migration.

Re: Migrate call manager DHCP to LAN DHCP server

You can setup the same pool in the router matching the voice vlan subnet and stop the dhcp service on Callmanager and during a maintenance window reset the phones from Callmanager. When you reset (not restart), phones reboot and start from scratch (query DHCP, query TFTP, download config file etc).
