migration from unity 3.0(2) to 4.0 Domino...

Hi,

A customer has an Unity on a standalone configuration with Exchange 2000. When he bought the avvid solution only unity 3.0 was available, but he has Lotus Notes as email server. Now it's available unity 4.0 Domino.

With the previous upgrade of the licenses, it is possible to upgrade the existing configuration or should I need to reinstall unity (domino version)?

He has the UNITY-SVR-1400-OS server, this hardware is supported to run unity 4.0?

TIA

It's not possible to just upgrade to the Domino back end with 4.0(x) in this case - you'll need to install fresh for this customer.

Here's the hardware support matrix link:

Hi,

Sorry if I reply so laaaate...

ok, I'll need to install fresh, and the hw is supported. but, the customer should buy a new instalation or is enough to buy the lic-upg?

remember that we're agoing to migrate from an exchange based deployment to a domino based.

You can just get an upgrade I believe.
