The calls are coming into the gateway on an FXO port via H323. The dial peer passes them to a CTI port with CFwdALL pointed to VM. The auto attendant picks up the call and transfers the call to the desired extension. When the call arrives on the phone the Caller ID name and number is presented to the phone properly, but if you look up the missed or recieved call in the directory of the phone it shows as "voicemail" with the voicemail port extension number.
Does anyone know why the phone is recieving the original calling party number, but the directory is not?
Are you using Supervised Tranfer or Release to Switch transfer?
If Supervised, then Unity is placing a new call and after the user answers the call will patch the original call through. Hence the missed call will show Unity port extension number, but if the user answers the phone then callmanager will forward the caller id of original caller.
