Modem/DSP cards in AS5400

Why does configurator enforce a limit of 1 60-port NextPort card per AS5400? I can't find anything on CCO to say that DSPs on the card are any different to the 108-port cards. What I'm trying to do is use 8 E1s(= 240 ports) so get as close a possible to 240 DSPs. 4 * 60 = 240 - Configurator doesn't like it. 2 * 108 = 216. 3 * 108 = 324. And as for 480... Forget it.
