You can use the "URL Directories" enterprise parameter and Cisco IP Phone XML objects to display custom directories.
The Cisco Call Manager enterprise parameter "URL Directories" points to a URL that returns a Cisco IPPhoneMenu object that extends the directories menu. The request for "URL Directories" must return a valid CiscoIPPhoneMenu object, even if has no DirectoryEnty objects.
The following objects are optional. If used, they must be used in the order they are listed:
Use the XMLdirectoryInput object to collect search criteria.
Use the XML directoryobject to display status messages or errors.
Use the XML directorylist object to return a list of dirctory entries that can be dialed.
The first three entries are, unfortunately, built into the phone and the order cannot be modified. All the XML objects supplied to the phone are appended to that list starting with number 4, which is where you see the single default entry of Corporate Directory.
