Re: modify network hold & user hold moh at ip phone?

Hi Charles,

I would use the "Update Phones" capability of BAT. Have a look;

Cisco Unified CallManager Bulk Administration Guide, Release 5.0(4)

Updating Phones> (here are two of the settings that can be changed)

User Hold Audio Source: Choose the user-hold audio source for this group of phones or ports. The user-hold audio source plays music when a user places a call on hold.

Network Hold Audio Source: Choose the network hold audio source that this group of IP phones or CTI ports should use. The network-hold audio source plays music when the system places a call on hold, such as when the user transfers or parks a call.

From this doc;

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a00806cce35.html#wp1342712

Hope this helps!

Use Bulk Administration Tool or 'BAT'.

It will allow you to change that setting for many phones without you doing it one by one.
