Modifying rights to change information

UM 3.15, E2k, W2k.

I would like to prevent SAWeb users from being able to modify the First, Last and Display name fields. Can this be done relatively easy? Other than going into the Active Directory.

Re: Modifying rights to change information

You can't restrict access to specific fields like that in the SA - admins who have access to subscribers via their COS settings will have access to the first/last/display name fields in the SA - you can't give someone the ability to update users but not specifically those fields.

Re: Modifying rights to change information

Thanks for the info.

The reason I ask is: The reason for choosing to import subscribers rather than creating new a subscriber is a compliance issue. Processes are in place to create AD objects. To keep the integrity of the information, we want to prevent changes outside the processes in place.
