MOH CCM 3.1

MOH not working..... no config changes dont know why. any help greatly appreciated. Only error messages are win2000 app logs Event ID 3

Error: DeviceUnregistered - Device unregistered.

Device name.: CFB_GDDXBSVR000

Device IP address.: 10.3.7.3

Device type.: 50

Reason Code [Optional].: 9

App ID: Cisco CallManager

Cluster ID: GDDXBSVR0005-Cluster

Node ID: 10.3.7.3

Explanation: A device that has previously registered with Cisco CallManager has unregistered. This event may be issued as part of normal unregistration event or due to some other reason such as loss of keepalives.

Recommended Action: No action is required if unregistration of this device was expected..

The IPVMSapp.exe runs as the "IP Voice Media Streaming Service" on your callmanager servers, it is the server process for the conferece bridge device (CFB_), MTP device(MTP_, and MOH server (MOH_). If that service stopped, or the kernal mode driver (listed under devices in device manager in win2k, then your CFB, MOH, and MTP devices would unregister. Try re-starting the service to see if your MOH returns. If it does, turn on detailed traces for the IPVMSAPP service (under /ccmadmin->applications->callmanager serviceability->trace->configuration) and log the traces until it happens again. When it happens again, open a TAC case and attach all available traces from this service and the time of the unregister message similar to the one you posted here.
