MoH for G.729 Callers

I have Cisco 2811 with CME and one PVDM2-16 card installed.

All calls from remote phones to this CME arrives in G.729 and I want to set up MoH for this calls.

I've configured dsp farms and CME:

voice-card 0

codec complexity medium

no dspfarm

dsp services dspfarm

sccp local FastEthernet0/1

sccp ccm identifier 1

sccp ccm group 1

associate ccm 1 priority 1

associate profile 1 register TRANSCODER

keepalive retries 5

switchover method immediate

switchback method immediate

switchback interval 5

dspfarm profile 1 transcode

codec g711ulaw

codec g711alaw

codec g729ar8

codec g729abr8

codec gsmfr

maximum sessions 6

associate application SCCP

max-ephones 42

max-dn 144

ip source-address port 2000

timeouts interdigit 3

sdspfarm units 2

sdspfarm transcode sessions 4

sdspfarm tag 1 mtp0016c85f0871

sdspfarm tag 2 TRANSCODER

network-locale RU

time-format 24

But when phone places G.729 call on hold caller does not hear MoH.

In debug I see:

Jun 8 14:53:48.491 EEST: No MOH resources available for DN 100 chan 1 codec 11

Jun 8 14:53:48.491 EEST: Moh get stream return fail!, codec=11

Jun 8 14:53:53.743 EEST: No MOH entry for DN 100

Please, help with this issue. Thanks in Advance, Alexander.

Re: MoH for G.729 Callers

•MOH is supplied only to PSTN and VoIP G.711 or G.729 calls. Local IP phone callers hear a repeating tone on hold for reassurance that they are still connected.

see link for more info:

Re: MoH for G.729 Callers

This behaviour has changed since CME 4.0. You can do MOH for PSTN/g729 or g711 callers now. Check this link

Re: MoH for G.729 Callers

Transcoder seems to be ok to me , maybe you are missing multicast moh port 2000 on Telephony services ?

Do you have the same issue on g711 callers ?

I have a working scenario with g729 callers , but still there quality is really poor most of the times you get a choppy moh
