MOH Live feed

I would like to hook up a live audio feed to my router for the hold music. I do not have an E&M port on my router, but I do have an FXO port. The documentation says it requires an external adapter to supply normal telco battery voltage with the correct polarity to the tip and ring leads of the FXO port. Could anyone help explain how to do this, and what kind of equipment I need to purchase to do this?

You need a JK Audio TAP-1 or equivalent:

Plug a mono audio source into this device with an RCA cable, power it with the supplied DC transformer, and connect it to the FXO port with a telephone patch cord. Then configure a MOH out-call source according to the instructions here:
