I was running MoH multicast in the remote site which sourced the audio from Head office CCM 3.3 but problem after CCM upgrade to 4.1(3). no configuration changed in the WAN and remote site LAN environment.
Multicast traffic successfully generated by the CCM and deliver into the remote site but no sound on the remote site phone. it works if I change to Unicast in the MRG. when I monitoring the IP phone statistics via web interface, increase the "Rx multicast" on the network port but nothing on the Phone port.
Remote phone's Network statistics via WEB interface
-Etehrnet
-Port1(Network), increase the "Rx multicast" traffic when I press the hold button in HQ
-Port2(Access)
-Port3(Phone), no traffic increase.
Any idea why no MoH sound in the remote site phone even the multicast traffic is delivered into the port?
Thanks in advance,

Does the user that is put on hold hear "tone on hold" instead of the MOH stream or do they hear absolute silence? I ask because if they hear the tone on hold I would investigate CM programming (codecs, locations etc.) and if they hear absolute silence then it is most likely a multicast issue.

I hear absolute silent. I have "tone-on-hold" when I change the codec, location,.. The question is why silent even the port receive multicast traffic. the switch is 3745 integration module and configuration as follows. looks the multicast not forwarding properly into the voice vlan. Advise please.
CCM--6509--HQ_3745--FR--RS_3745(integrated switch module)--IP phone
CCM
checked the multicast via PerfMon
6509
set igmp enable
HQ_3745
int f0/1 (CCM attached interface)
ip pim dense-mode
!
s0/0.1
ip pim dense-mode
RS_3745
s0/0.1
ip pim dense-mode
!
int vlan 101
ip pim dense-mode
!
inte f0/5
switch mode trunk
switch trunk native vlan 201
switch voice vlan 101
!
I can see the muticast traffic via "show ip mroute active" in RS_3745 and IP phone's web interface. only change is upgrade the CCM from 3.3 to 4.1(3) and nothing change the network side.
Thanks in advance,

Are you using G729 codec for branch site? If yes then make sure that g729 is selected under "Supported MOH Codecs" in the IP Media Sreaming Application service parameters.
Multicast MOH can not use transcoder so if you're usgin G729 codec you need to enable this parameter.

Absolutely enabled g711 and g729 both in the IP media streaming applicaiton service parameter which same way as CCM3.3. and restart the CCM box also. display g729 but "0" packet when I press "i" button on the remote phone.

resolved the issue by change the MoH hop count to "9" and back to "3". weird. don't know why. Any clue?

problem again after rebuild the environment. not works by changing the hop to "9" and back to "3" at this moment.
the hop into the remote site phone is "3" and checked the multicast traffic properly forwarding into the phone by using the command "show ip mroute active", "debug ip mpacket-->serial interface as source and destination to vlan101" and "web interface for the remote phone-->increase the Rx Multicast packet".
the remote phone is attached to the 3745 integrated switch module and didn't test with the external switch. it worked okay with CCM3.3 and IOS12.3.x but problem since CCM4.1.3 and IOS 12.4.3e and 12.4.5b. Is the integration switch module has the compatibility issue with newer IOS?
Any comment will be appreciated.

I tested with external switch and works okay. suspect its bug on the integrated switch module(NM-16ESW) with the latest IOS.
Anyone been tested with 3745/NM-16ESW with IOS 12.4.3e or 12.4.5d?
