MOH on H323 Gateways

I've CCM 3.1(1) and 1751 H323 gateway with VIC-2BRI.

When I put on hold a PSTN user the user doesn't hear nothing.

It's a necessary additional configuration ?

Thanks

Re: MOH on H323 Gateways

In the H.323 gateway configuration in CCMAdmin, is the gateway in a Location other than ? If so, that is the problem. Also, make sure that the MOH source that is being used is not multicast.

Re: MOH on H323 Gateways

I have the same problem, and also verified that my Locations are None and just unicast.

I have a TAC case open for over two weeks now still trying to resolve.

Re: MOH on H323 Gateways

I was told by TAC a couple of weeks ago that MOH did not work thru a gateway yet, just location 0 (LAN).

Re: MOH on H323 Gateways

MOH does work through a gateway. In CM3.1(1) only, the gateway can't be in anything other than Location 0. That goes for any device type, not just gateways.

Re: MOH on H323 Gateways

I've just verified that the location is None and the source don't use multicast but nothing happen.

May work If I use a WS-X6608-E1 as gateway?

Thanks
