MOH will not stop

I have CM 3.1.3a and have tried to turn off MOH on certain lines. It seems to work on internal calls but not on external calls. I made sure that the gateway has it turned off also. So what am I missing?

Re: MOH will not stop

You might want to check the Device Pool Configuration (under System) and make sure the MOH preferences are not checked.

Re: MOH will not stop

Also, if you want to completely disable MOH, remove the MRGL from all device pools AND create a new MRGL for the MOH servers. That will make sure that any configurations done explicitly on the phones will have no way of reaching the MOH server. And restart all devices.

Re: MOH will not stop

If you want to disable MOH all together system wide. Just set the run flag to false on the MOH servers. In 3.1 you have to go to service -> moh. Then in the upper right click configure MOH servers. Then click on each 1 to set the run flag to false. Then update. In 3.2 service -> media resource -> moh servers.

Hope this helps,
