I have an MRP200 with a VWIC-1MFT-T1 voice card installed. This is for a new installation. The service being proviced by our LEC is called "Access Advantage". It consists of a T1 trunk with multiple DS0's that support FXO-Loop-Start signalling on channels 1-12 and 18,19. There is also a DID group on channels 20-24 that support E&M-wink-start. I have configured 3 DS0 groups on the interface through the CLI, but do not have an "FXO-Loop-Start" option when I configure the voice card as an MGCP T1-CAS gateway. Do I need to configure this as H.323? or can this be done in MGCP?
The MRP shows registration with the Call Manager, so I must have the right IOS version. By the way, where do I find IOS versions for MRP blades? Please read the rest of the question. It seems that Call Manager will not allow an "FXO-loop-start" signal type on a T1 CAS connection for an MGCP gateway, but the CLI on the MRP will. Call Manager will only allow for E&M signalling on T! CAS. Is that a version limitation? Is my only choice to configure the MRP as an H.323 gateway? We are running CCM version 3.1.3a, and will be moving to 3.2
