MRTG - Monitoring collisions on a 2621

I am running MRTG 2.9.25 using the following string to collect collision data;

target[mci_pop_vxr_1]: 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.25.3&1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.25.3:comname@popvxr1

When I use this same mib string with snmpwalk on an OpenView machine it returns values which indicates about 20-30 collisions every 5 minutes. MRTG shows an initial value on the first line of the mci_pop_vxr_1.txt file, but zeros afterword. I am using the "perhour" option.

Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks,

Steve

Steve,

You may get better results with this question in the network infrastructure forum since this is more of an SNMP/NMS question than a voip question.

I would check the interface and see which one was accurate, though.

Thanks, I didn't realize I was in the VOIP area.
