MS Exchange Event Service Stops with Error:

My application log shows the following error:

An unexpected MAPI error occurred. Error returned was [0x8004010f].

The event service will not start. I found article 259578 on the MS Knowledgebase. One solution is to uninstall and reinstall the MS Event Service. Can this be done without service interruption?

Unity doesn't need the Exchange Event Service. If you like you can disable. You if really want to get it working again you can do so during a maintenance window.

Assuming that it will require Exchange to be offline -- Unity will go run in UMR mode while Exchange is unavailable. Once Exchange is back up and running Unity functionality will return to normal.
