Multi-site possibilities<br><br>Hi, I have a Call Manager cluster with one Unity server(246.135) connected to one exchange site.<br>The exchange server is running 5.5 on NT4.<br>The people in this company get mail from more that one exchange site. Therefore<br>The people that home to the non Unity exchange site cant get voicemail from Unity.<br><br>I know this is not possible with Unity ver 2(having more than one exchange site)<br><br>What are the possibilities with Unity ver 2 or ver 3.<br>Any option, adding a second Unity server etc. etc. <br><br>thanks<br>regards<br><br><br>
Yes, there are options with 3.0 for networking multiple Unity boxes here. In Exchange 5.5 it's still not possible to have one Unity server handling multiple sites (MAPI limitations are at the heart of this and 3.0 still uses MAPI to get at your mailstore).
You can string Unity servers together into dialing domains and the like which may be what you want to do here.
