Multiple connections to unity

I have Call Manger 4.1(3) and Unity 4.2 with some 7960's in a lab. I have a 16-port voice mail connector for Unity. However, when more than one phone accesses voice mail only the first connection gets connected to Unity. After the first one completes the next connection works. Only 1 simultaneous connection is working. I have 16 VM ports with their own extension configured on Call Manger. However, it will not go the next number in the list when the first one is in use. It just provides a busy signal.

Re: Multiple connections to unity

Hi Todd,

It sounds like the VM ports have not been set up in a Hunt List (to flow from one to the next on a busy condition). Have a look;

Cisco Unity Configuration Checklist

Add the Voice Mail Port DNs to a line group.

Add the line group that contains the Voice Mail Port DNs to a hunt list.

Associate the hunt list that contains the line group with a hunt pilot.

Note The hunt pilot must match the voice-mail pilot that is configured and used by the voice-mail profiles

From this Unity doc;

Hope this helps!

Rob
