multiple messages to leave

In a School environment, how can a parent call in and leave a VM with a teacher and then dial another ext and leave another VM with another teacher without having to dial the main 7 dig # again? Subscribers are setup to say goodbye after someone leaves a message. Is there a way to do this without having them go right into a call handler again?

Re: multiple messages to leave

If Unity was accepted as default setup, this should work right now. After the parents leave the message for one teracher, they can hit # to signal end of the message, hit 1 to send the message and then they would hear the opening message again.

Check how your "after message action" is setup ... by default it is probably set to go the the "say goodbye" call handler. This will say "if you'd like to try another extension..." and then hangs up. They can dial another ID here.

You can change the after message action to go to the opening greeting again instead which may give them a little more breathing room to enter the ID of another teacher or access the alpha directory or whatever...

Thank you! I tried it and it works, the hard thing is letting people know that this function is available.
