multipledirectory.asp does not work on 7961 or 7941

multipledirectory.asp is working fine on a 7960 and 7940

when I try to use it on a 7961 or 7941 it does not work

I have the directory search on the 7961 screen but when I highlight it and try to search nothing

do not receive the screan to enter name or ext

Hi,

i had the same problem.

The IP-Phones SDK only supports 7940/60 but not 7941/61.

I tried multipledirectory.asp with 7960 without probleme.

I don't know if Cisco will update the SDK to support the newer Phones.

We used third party apllication to solve the probleme.

Of course the question becomes: why?

Take the output that can be displayed on the 7940/60 and not on the 7941/61, create a page from it, and push a CiscoIPPhoneExecute with the url to the 61/41 phone.. note the error, then start stripping the document down.. reduce the number of items returned, reduce/remove custom buttons, etc, until you have tracked the error down.. then open a TAC case after having verified that the offending element doesn't violate the XML phone language (or in case it does, you can probably fix the directory by yourself or at least post the offending element here so that somebody else can help you fix it).

Can you send me what thrid party applications you are using ?

Does this include the multipledirectory search?
