Music on Hold question

I have a question regarding IP to IP Phone call Music on hold.

IP Phone A(Location A) - Has MOH-A

Gateway A(Location A) - Has MOH-A

IP Phone B(Location B) - Has MOH-B

When I call IP Phone A via PSTN the MOH is correct or when another phone in Location A calls Phone A within that one location the MOH is correct.

But when IP Phone B calls IP Phone A and IP Phone A puts the call on hold. IP Phone B hears the wrong MOH. IP Phone B hears its own MOH-B instead of MOH-A which I would have expected.

Is this by design or is this something that I can even make work.

No, IP phone B should hear MOH-A

At which level you r specifying MOH audio source?

You can do it a Line Level, Phone Level, Device Pool Level, System Wide. The most specific ill apply.

You may open a TAC case so we can take a look at your config.

Re: Music on Hold question

I am setting MOH thru a device pool but here is the kink that I forgot about and makes since to me know. I am multicasting off the local srst gateway and after reading figued out this behavior is by design.
