Music On Hold

Music on Hold Server works fine for my Call Manager 4.1(3) installation, but only internally. When someone call from outside, and when the outside caller is put on hold, all he/she hears three beeps.

Is it a configuration issue?

It's most likely configuration issue. Make sure that the Media Resource Group List (MRGL) is applied to the device pool assigned to the gateway. Try reseting the devices assigned to the device pool. Also, what codec are you using for the GW? If it's g.729 then you will need to assign the g.729 to the MoH or use a transcoder.

We were able to resolve this issue after indentifying a codec mismatch between the location assigned to the MOH server and the remote location of the Voice Gateway.
