System information : Unity 3.0.1 Switch : Lucent Merlin legend <br> Total 8 port , 70 users, 3 ports dedicated for MWI<br> <br><br>Problem : <br>AV notifier is set to resync every morning 1am, the problem is after dedicating the 3 ports for MWI we now get event viewer error saying “failed to set message waiting lamp, name and ext. reason no suitable port”.<br><br>If ports are not dedicated for MWI’s we do not get this event error. <br><br>The reason for dedicating the ports is uses where having random MWI light issues and it is recommended to dedicate ports for just MWI lights.<br><br><br>

Is the system key set for integration = Multiple by any chance?

The integration type is set to analog...
It makes sense to me to see the errors even thought unity is queing, however the same people in the event log are the people that the MWI either stays on or does not come on. So is it possible that even though unity is putting them in the que the PBX is not doing its job...

Other than the event errors are MWIs misbehaving in any way?

When resyncing Unity will want to light all appropriate lamps at the same time. Three will succeed, the rest will fail and get requeued. Unity should countinue lighting three at a time until all are set. The errors you are seeing could just be a result of this behavior.
