MWI not lighting for some users

We are using Unity ver. 3.0. With one user I'm unable to save the change to "Use MWI for Message Notification". As soon as I try to save it, the check disappears from the checkbox. I'm also not able to add a MWI extension.

For another user, the above symptoms do not show up; everything appears normal, but no light when a message is left.

It's possible that there are two issues here:1) the weirdness on the SA and 2)lack of actual MWI on the phone.

#1 sounds like CSCdv69312

#2 wouldn't actually be caused by CSCdv69312

For #2, you could try the troubleshooting steps in this link...
