MWI not working properly on analog phones through an ATA 186
Cisco Call Manager 4.1(3)sr1
ATA 186 3.2(1)
When I leave a voice mail message, initially no MWI message indication lights on the analog phone.
The message light indicator in the ATA flashes indicating that there is a voice message waiting.
When I pick up the phone I get the stutter tone indicating I have a voicemail message, if I hang up after this, the phones message light goes on and stays on until I read the message. Once the message has been read, the light goes off accordingly.
Do ATA devices support mwi features???
Since I get the message waiting light on the phone to work after I picked up the phone, Im guessing that the functionality is supported. Obviously Im missing something here.
Does any one have experience with this type of setting????
