Hi<br><br>Is there any way to have the MWI light function for the second line appearance on a phone rather than the first? I have a situation where a secretary's phone has two lines. The first is the main incoming line and the second is her private extension. When she recieves voice mail on her extension the mwi lamp does not light. I can't just switch the order of the lines for unrelated reasons.<br><br>

Sure, just change the MWI Extension field under a subscriber's "Messages" page from "X" (the Unity subscriber's DTMF ID) to whatever you want (the second line appearance).
In 2.4.6, you only get one MWI code. So, such a change is replacement of a MWI extension as opposed to an additional MWI extension. In 3.0, you can have multiple MWI extensions.

Do note that the actual red light will not turn on for any extension except the first line on the phone. For other extensions, you will only see a flashing envelope. MWI support for non-primary lines will come in CM 3.2.
