I am using in my offices Unity-Enterprise,the Unity is sending MWI only for the first new voice-mail that arrive, after this even if there are new messages that arrive the unity will not send MWI. I am using SMDI
integration .

Is there any way to configue the Unity that it will send every interval of time that define (e.g. 30 minutes) the MWI status regardless the status of the arriving of
message or deleting them?

Thanks,
Nir

If you want us to send out a new lamp request every time the voice mail count changes (regardless of if the lamp is already on or not) you can do that by setting the update display option for MWIs using the Switch Edit Tool.
In the Unity program group youll find the switch edit tool and on the MWI tab youll see a checkbox for update display. If you check this and restart Unity (we only read that setting at startup) we will send out lamp on requests every time the count changes. So if you have 5 new voice mails and you listen to one, the state changes and we send out a new lamp on since you still have 4 new voice mails.
This option is intended for folks using digitial integrations that allow us to update the count on the phone display instead of just turning the MWI light on or off.
Be aware this will increase your MWI traffic quite a bit. Since youre using serial this should probably be OK. For an analog lamping configuration this would be a very bad idea!
You could also crank up the retry interval on lamps and set the interval to 30 minutes. This doesnt sound like what you want, however if you want to use this instead, youll also find the fields you need to edit on the MWI tab in the switch edit utility. Bump up the retry count field to 5 or 6 or whatever and stick 30 minutes in the retry interval. This will mean that ALL lamp requests will get retried 5 times including offs.
You definitely do NOT want to use this AND the update display option you SMDI connection will be on fire all day long.
I'm not able to access my old voice mail messages all of a sudden. The recording says something like 'the message is currently not available'. This has never happened before in all the years I have been using this system. I have t...
