I know there have been much information on the MWI, but I seem to have a weird problem. When I receive a voice mail, whether internal or external, it takes at least 5 min to elumination the MWI Lamp, but the voicemail is in the inbox 10-20 seconds after the message is left. When the message is deleted it takes the same amount of time to turn the MWI lamp off. I have searched through the list and have tried many of the recommendations. Anyone else have any ideas?<br><br><br><br>
What kind of switch are you connecting to? If it's a system using analog ports for lighting lamps it could simply be taking that long to queue up and dial out. If it's an IP/Serial integration it shouldn't be taking that long. You can check if lamp codes are going out right away and the switch is not acting on them and it's getting picked up on the first retry (if configured) or something along those lines.
