Need Attendant Console Options

Customer wants an attendant console.  Now that Cisco has sunsetted the version they had, customers are being forced to look at some of the other solutions, primarily the rebranded ones Cisco is offering from ARC.

It would appear that all the solutions ARC is offering that will work with CallManager 7 REQUIRE a dedicated server for the application.  This is absolutely not sitting well with customers at all.  Not a single one is excited about spending more money adding yet another dedicated Microsoft server to the environment (hardware and software cost) just to host this thing which didn't need a server before.

ARC's requirements very closely resember the requirements for a Cisco MCS server, which further raises the costs.

I'm curious if any other options may exist, especially ones not requiring a dedicated server.  For medium sized installs with less than 150 phones, the ARC solution is cost prohibitive.  While the department console looks like it might be a fit, the data sheet doesn't show compatibility with CCM 7.

Any suggestions appreciated.

We do aggree in all points. We have installed several AC even in other countries and now we will have the problem how to train these users on a new software. Please note that these users are not IT-Professionals they know what they have to click when they have a know status. We also have to discuss the cost problem with our customer. I think they will not like it to pay for a attendant console.

So this is definitively a big problem.

Any suggestions appreciated.
