Need help using the bulk update tool within DC Directory Administration

I'm trying to modify users within the DC Directory using the Bulk Update tool (DC Directory Admin, Tools, Bulk Update).

Our problem is that whilst using Speech recognition to dial extensions by name, we are gettting a response saying "phone number trying to reach is out of service". We use extension mobility with no primary extension set however when we modify the user to have a primary extension the problem is fixed.

I've found that the best way to modify users in bulk, to set the primary extension to all users, is to use the Bulk Update tool within DC Directory Administration. If anyone has used this they will know it's not very straight forward.

Can someone offer some assistance on how i can do this, what fields are what and so on.

cheers

not sure if this is what you need, but i know about a program that can extract bulk data from the call manager (using XML/SOAP), write it to an intermediate database, where you can manipulate the tables, then write it all back to the original call manager, or even another call manager, again using SOAP. looks great for big migration or deployment projects, and supports calling search spaces, partitions, phones, lines, locations, templates, translation patterns AND users!
