Need help with 7940 configuration

Hi,

I tried to configure a NEW 7940 phone with the Call manager version 4.1.

It is not getting registred with CCM. The display shows the message Configuring IP from last few days. No other buttons on the phone are active.Nothing is happning. There is no bad IP or conflict with the DHCP pool. Any suggestions?

Are you using auto registration, or have you manually added the phone? If auto registration, then make sure it is enabled.

Try restaring the TFTP server. Go to network settings on the phone and see if it's getting an IP address, a TFTP server IP address, and a list of CallManager servers?

Can you ping the IP address?

You can go to TFTP trace logs folder and see more details.
