Need help with VG200 and MGCP

I have just updated IOS to 12.2(3) and CM 3.1. All ports are up on PRI, yet when I do a show ccm-manager on vg200, it tells me I have no current active call manager. I have my call-agent statement as well as my ccm-manager mgcp statement. Seems I have no communication between CM and vg200. CM tells me to see endpoints. Please help!

I had this same problem.

I added the host name of the VG200 to DNS and used the host name as the device name in the gateway config.

This is the only way it worked.

I had the same problem with a 2600 gateway using mgcp. I found that the name of the gateway in the CCM had to be exactly the same as the name of the router in the routers' config. Hope this helps.
