For some reason or other the interface between Call Manager and 'Servername' / Active Directory was broken when we lost the domain controller for a few moments. In order to rectify this, it was necessary to re-run the AD plug-in on both Call Manager servers and run the ccmpwdchanger to reset all registry passwords. Following a reboot of the servers all was well.
I don't suppose anyone would know if it's possible to point CCM at more than one domain controller, or why when this interface between CCM and AD was severed, it was necessary to run the plu in again?
we can only point CCM to ONE domain controller. the link between AD and CCM can sometimes break due to AD issue or some upgrade on either CCM or domain controller server. if the link is broken its already advisable to run the AD plugin once again and reintialize the link. use the following link as a guideline-
