if you read several Designguides you find always the recomendation for VoIP Networks "use small Networks" , but why is not exacly explained.
maybe i get some answers and reasons here ?

not really to sure about what you are asking specifically, but they recommend small size to keep latency to a minimum.
Could you provide a link to the document that mentions this so I can see where they are coming from?

I think latency is not a Problem in a Ciso 3550 enviroment with a 6509 Distribution Switch.
btw. Cisco SE and Distributiors recomend small Networks too.
There is no information about the link i read this in different books.
