After AD Integration, new users are being added to AD and are not showing

in Global Directory.

Has anyone else seen this?

This happens because email is not a mandatory user attribute in Active Directory. But, from the Call Manager perspective, this is a required attribute. Without this field being populated, users will not show up in the Directory or Admin pages.

Follow these steps to populate the email field:

From a Domain Controller, open Active Directory Users and Computers: Start -> Programs -> Administrative Tools -> Active Directory Users and Computers. Select the user, Right-click and choose 'Properties'.

The user properties will then be displayed. Under the General tab, check to make sure the E-mail field is populated.

They did have an email address.

But they didn't have a Last Name value.

We entered in Last Name information and it started working.
