NM-2V Problem

Hi,

I have an NM-2V installed in Cisco 2611 both have a one 2FXO-M1 each. The OPER status of two FXO ports on the module in the slot 0 of NM-2V remains "down". while for the other two FXO ports on the other slot of same NM-2V is OK (i.e. dormant). I have tried doing a shut and no shut, but did not help. Interestingly if i take the whole NM-2V along with the two FXOs installed in it, and put it in a different Cisco 2611 then all the four ports on the FXOs on both slots of NM-2V, work perfectly.

Is it a hardware with the NM-2V or the router itself ? Or is there something else ??? I read somewhere that there are some jumpers that need to be set... but am not sure if that setting is for this situation or not.

The IOS on both the router is same i.e. c2600-is-mz.121-5.T9.bin.

Regards

Re: NM-2V Problem

Since the whole NM-2V works fine when installed in another router, the issue could be due to the router hardware. Here IOS is also fine. You might need to replace the existing router with a new cisco2611 to get the probelm solved.
