no answer when calling Unity Call Handler from external lines

If i call my Unity CH extension (8000) from an internal IP phone it works fine. When I change the connection plar on the voice port setting on my AS5350 to 8000, it just rings and rings. On my CM box under CTI route points, the route point I created for the Unity CH isn't registered. Could this be the problem? Its odd because even though it's not registered, it still works fine (internally).

CTI rouote points will not register ... this is normal.

When the call gets sent too Unity, do you see the call in the call viewer. If not do you see the call on callManager in the traces.

The key is to figure out where the call is going. If it is hitting a route point, what is that route point supposed to be doing with the call? Does it forward to VM?
