My customer has CCM 3.3 w/ a 2651 gateway w/ 2 PRI's. Caller ID works fine to landline phones, but comes up "unknown caller" when you call a cell phone. We have tried this with Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular with the same results. Anyone know why this is?
I don't have a solution, but I have seen the same thing Using several differnt carriers. I'm not sure what the issue is and I haven't tried to chase it down. I suspect that it is some carrier to carrier transition when the call is habded off, but I have seen the problem with a Verizon PRI to a Verizon Cellphone as well.... You would think they would talk to each other.
