No Caller ID to Wireless Carriers

My customer has CCM 3.3 w/ a 2651 gateway w/ 2 PRI's. Caller ID works fine to landline phones, but comes up "unknown caller" when you call a cell phone. We have tried this with Sprint, Verizon, and Cingular with the same results. Anyone know why this is?

I don't have a solution, but I have seen the same thing Using several differnt carriers. I'm not sure what the issue is and I haven't tried to chase it down. I suspect that it is some carrier to carrier transition when the call is habded off, but I have seen the problem with a Verizon PRI to a Verizon Cellphone as well.... You would think they would talk to each other.

What are you settings for the following items on your gateway, in CCM (h323 I assume):

Calling party IE number type unknown* (this should be set to NATIONAL)

Calling Numbering Plan (this should be ISDN)

Also make sure Display IE Delivery is checked.

Changing those helped me with you issue. If it doesn't work let me know,
