No Lines to control on IP soft Phone, configured as standalone on PC

I think I have followed all the steps correctly by creating a user, enabling CTI for the user. Creating a CTI port for the phone, assigning a DN for the phone.

Associating the user with the CTI Port, configuring the PC name as the soft phone on the Personal Information page for the user. Making sure I have used the same username and password, as well as CCM IP address when configuring the soft phone.

I am using the PC name that has the soft phone installed, but still I don't have any lines to control on the soft phone.

Still no joy...any ideas..pls let me know

Is the problem on a single computer or is this system wide? If it's system wide, make sure the CTI Manager is running on the Callmanager server. You can also enable CTI Traces on the CCM server to see if you are logging errors when the Softphone tries to register. If the problem is with a single computer, enable traces on the computer and post the traces.
